{every time I check Pinterest, I fall more in love. especially when I found this wall-art project (you can find the original by clicking on the picture), I knew I had to make one of my own. and, boy, am I in love. it was also one of the easiest and CHEAPEST projects I have ever completed. here is how you can make your own:
I have lived in two states (for more than a year), so I knew I needed two frames —
2 frames from local thrift store: 4.97/piece + 20% discount = $7.96
2 state outlines: printed on computer paper at work = free
2 pieces of blue cardstock: $.44/piece (Hobby Lobby) + 50% discount = $.44
2 white mattings: $2.97/piece (Hobby Lobby) = $5.94
1 can of black spray paint: $1.96 (Wal-Mart) = $1.96
1 wall hanger: $1.09 (had them do it at Hobby Lobby) = $1.09
TOTAL: $17.39 for both or $8.70 each
seriously, so cheap and simple. I like them because they are clean, fresh, and show all of the pride I have for Lascassas, Knoxville, and Auburn. I haven’t decided where to hang them yet, but I know I will love them where ever they are in my apartment!}
